What exactly is Spirit Keeping? Spirit keeping is the practice of inviting a senient, non-physical entity into your life to form a beneficial bond. Much like a friendship or mentorship, these companions can offer guidance, protection, emotional suppor, and energetic assistance in your spiritual practice.
Are the Spirits "trapped" in the vessel? Absolute not. At Wicked Conjures we do not believe in or practice enslavement. The spirit is not "inside" the object, instead, the vessel acts a physical anchor, or "beacon" that makes it easier for the spirit to manifest their energy in our realm and for you to find their "frequency." They are free to travel between realms as they please.
Is Spirit Keeping safe for my family and pets? Yes. Every entity we offer undergoes a rigorous vetting process (typically 3-6 months) to ensure they are safe for human companionship. We do not work with malevolent entities. During your bonding process, you will also be taught how to set "House Rules" to ensure a harmonious environment for everyone in your home.
What is the difference between Direct Binding and Vessel Binding? Direct Binding: The spirit is bound directly to your own energy field. Vessel Binding: The spirit is anchored to a physical object like jewelry or a crystal.
Can I choose my own Vessel? Yes! If you select a "Distance Binding" you can choose an item you already own. We will then perform the ritual to anchor the spirit's energy to that specific object from afar.
How do I start communicating with my new companion? When you welcome a companion from us, you will receive detailed PDF including their name, personality profile, and preferred offerings. We recommend starting with "passive bonding"- simply keeping the vessel near you, talking to them throughout your day, and offering items they like (such as incense, candles, or music). Over time, you may use tools like pendulums, tarot, or meditation to depend conversation.
What if I don't "feel" anything right away? Don't worry! Everyone's spiritual "Claire's" (clairvoyance, clairaudience, etc.) are at different levels. Some people feel physical tingle immediately, while other notice subtle signs in dreams or "gut feelings" weeks later. Building a relationship takes time and patience.
Do I need to give them offerings? While not strictly required for the spirit's "survival," offerings are a sign of respect and a way to strengthen the bond. Thin of it like buying a coffee for a friend. Popular offerings include incense, specific crystals, tea, or simply your time and attention.
Do the spirits have a choice in this? Yes. We operate on a "Matchmaking" or "Reverse Adoption" philosophy. We only facilitate bonds with spirits who have explicitly expressed a desire to work with a human keeper. They choose you just as much as you choose them.
What is your refund policy? Due to the intensive time, energy and components involved in conjuration and binding, we offer a 14 day return policy if the spirit is still bound to it's original vessel, items are not open and still in it's original packaging. However, if you feel you are not "clicking" with your companion after a period of dedicated effort, please contact us for a consultation on mediation or relocation.
What are "Arts" levels? White Arts: Entities with pure, light, and healing energies. Grey Arts: Balanced entities that understand both light and shadow, highly versatile. Dark Arts: Entities that deal with heavier, more transformative, or protective energies. Note: Dark is not "Evil"; it simply refers to a different energetic frequency.
How do I bond with my companions? Simply talking to them like you would a friend next to you. Spending quality time with the entity. Offerings do help with bonding. Hold the vessel for at least 15 minutes per day in both hands or wear the vessel.
Meditate with the vessel to try to better "hear" or "feel" their energy.
Journaling: Keep a dedicated notebook to record any dreams, synchronicities, or thoughts that occur after you spend time with them.
Shared Interest: If your companion has any specific interest (like music, nature, or arts) bring the vessel with you while you engage in those activities.
Energy Work: If your practice Reiki or any form of energy manipulation, try "sharing" a bit of calm, neutral energy with the vessel.
Invitation: Explicitly invite them to walk with you during your day or to visit you in your dreams.
